Sigourney Weaver Talks ‘Alien: Isolation,’ Hint at Alien 5?

As I said earlier, I don’t like sequels never meant to legitimately continue a story, or a reboot of a classic story. This part of the story is completely different.

It’s still in the “Alien” universe, however, you haven’t heard this part of the story.

FoxNews.com has covered the Sega video game Alien: Isolation.  It’s a first-person shooter wedged in between Alien, and Aliens. It portrays Amanda Ripley, Ellen Ripley’s daughter trying to unravel the mystery of her missing mother. As any fan of the Alien universe knows, Ellen was in suspended animation for 57 years. What happened while she was snoozing?

Prince of Persia, Postal, and Resident Evil became movies, so why wouldn’t Alien: Isolation complete the Alien Universe circle?

Now I’m just speculating. There have been no announcements about an Alien 5, but it may come to fruition sooner than we think. If it happens, I think it will be an appropriate movie for Sigourney to pass the Ripley torch.
